What's this?

After all that talk about the baby coming, the baby is finally here! I am not so sure how I feel about it, since the baby doesn't really play with me, and all those people who told me the baby goes waa, didn't specify the baby actually goes waaa, waaa, waaa, waaaaaaaaaa....

But we are starting to get to know each other and he lets me borrow his swing, pacifier, bottle, diapers and whatever else I decide I am going to borrow :) so I guess he's ok...

Pretty soon I will be showing him all the fun stuff I like to do, like going to storytime and the park.

Summer is finally here!

Things have been pretty busy around here! I hear there's a baby coming to visit (I am not sure why furniture has to be moved around for a baby to visit, but oh well...)

My friend Noah came over last weekend and we had a great time playing at the park and playing around the house we were up until almost 11 o'clock running around! I have also been keeping busy playing with all my friends and going to playdates, going to the zoo and getting used to the great summer weather again!

I'm baack!

Wow! I can't believe it's been 2 months since I have updated all of you! Let's see what you may have missed: I went to Puerto Rico to visit some of my family and then I got sick when I came back so we had to stay home for almost a week :(

I have also been to kids kampus a lot lately one of my favorite parks here in Jacksonville. We even had our Valentine's party there where I ran off and played with my friends for hours! Mommy who??

Then I was sick again, so another week of staying home :( Now I am ready for my little brother to get here so I can show him all about my favorite things like playing on the playground and climbing on everything in sight!

We're going to Disney World!

Or more acurately, we went to Disney World! It was so much fun I was, well, like a kid at Disney world! I got to go on lots of the rides and run around with the big kids! I even got my very first set of mouse ears! I can't wait until we go back!

The Holidays are here!

Th holidays are here! Who would have known there was so much excitement to be crammed into a few weeks! First we had thanksgiving, with yummy turkey and pumpkin pie. I a about to start gobbling pretty soon I have had so much turkey, but I heard that we are finally out of leftovers, so I am sure I will be getting some mac n cheese again soon! Now we have a giant Christmas tree in our living room! Who knew that trees could grow out of the carpet and the tree has toys hanging from it! I think by the end of the year I will have tried climbing the tree at least once or twice...

Happy Halloween

I just got back from my first Halloween party this weekend and I must say I had a blast. I dressed up as Batgirl!! My costume is awesome and I loved wearing the mask! I am going to carve a pumpkin today, so that should be lots of fun and then trick or treating on Tuesday!!

I'm 1!!!!

Have you heard? I'm 1!!! I am no longer an infant, I am now officially a one-year old little girl :)
I had my birthday this weekend and we had a little party to celebrate. Some of my friends came over and we played in the backyard and had some cake and ice cream and just had some good ol' fun.
So, now you know, next time you see me, I'll be a walking little on year old, not just a little girl !

September

It is almost September, which can only mean one thing: MY BIRTHDAY!
I am so excited! I am almost 1!!! I have been working on my walking and eating big girl food. My favorites are pizza and chicken nuggets. Mommy makes them for me at home and I just gobble them up. I also love yogurt. I can't wait until I get to try some cake and ice cream!!

Where did summer go?

It seems like this summer has just flown by, all this travelling has me seriously jet-lagged! This month I flew to Puerto Rico for my abuela's birthday. I got to go to the beach and play with my cousin's Natalie, Cristian and Jonathan. They are so much fun!! I also got to hang out in the pool which I absolutely loved!
Life is settling back to normal, playdates, naps and just hanging out at home.
Now, just a few more weeks and it'll be my birthday!!I'll be 1 next month!!!

Where has the time gone?

I can't believe it's been over a month since I have posted an update! I've just been very busy this summer. I have been learning to sit, crawl, stand and walk. You know, just a few things to keep myself busy...I spent the past week in Washington State, visiting with my daddy's family. Mommy and daddy say the plane ride was only 6 hours, but I think it was closer to 3 days!
Now we are back home and I am getting ready to start walking on my own, no more holding on to the furniture for me!

Busy Times!!!

This past week has been very busy!!! My family from Puerto Rico flew in for my baptism and I had a nice long visit with my Abuelo and Abuela and Bisa and Tio Alex and Marissa. We went to St. Augustine and the mall and we drove to Gainesville for tour of UF, like I said, busy times!! Things are starting to quiet down now, so I will hopefully have a chance to post more soon! Keep checking back for updates on my summer!!!

My Baptism

Last week I was baptized at Holy Trinity Church in Gainesville. My mommy and daddy were worried that I was going to shake the walls with my screams when water was poured on my head, but I showed them...I barely made a peep! Then we had a party at my yaya's house and there were sooo many people there. I had a chance to see some of my friends and meet lots of new people. I was so tired I slept ALL the way home!
I also had my first big fall this weekend. Right after this picture was taken I threw myself off the couch!!! Thankfully other than being a little scared and scaring my mommy and daddy half to death I was fine and after a few minutes I was ready to play again, whew!!!

The Zoo!!

Last week I visited the Jacksonville Zoo for the first time. I had so much fun, we went again over the weekend to show daddy all my favorite animals. I loved petting the giraffes and going into the aviary where dozens of tiny birds fluttered about and tried to stand on me! I can't wait to go back once the petting zoo opens next week. I'll post pictures soon!

Nice to meet you...

This weekend I finally met my friend Gabriella! She was born just a few months after me, and she is still so tiny, I can't wait until she gets older and we can run around and play! She and her mommy and daddy came up from Davie to visit their Lake City friends and family. I went to Lake City and got my first introduction to many of my mommy's college friends. I also got to meet Isabella who is just a few weeks older than me and we had lots of fun! I can't wait until football season, it seems that Jose's house is where all the fun is, maybe if I'm good mommy & daddy will take me to one of his parties or maybe Gabriella and I will have to come up with a plan...

Some catching up...

Well, I guess I am pretty far behind, since I am already 6 months old and just starting a blog...All my friends have had blogs since they were born, my friend Gabriella even started one before she was born!!
So, let me give you the short story of the past 6 months:
I was born on a Friday night (9.30.2005) at 10:31pm, came home on Monday and got to know my new roommates: Sully and Wizowski. Over the next few weeks I got to know my new family, even my Tio Alex and Thea Elizabeth who came from Philadelphia and California.
At 6 months, I've already been to Puerto Rico twice, racking up some frequent flier miles for some fun trips when I get older!
I have quite the busy social life too! I joined a playgroup and meet up with my friends once or twice a week to play at the park or just hang out. My friend Noah and I also like to get together every so often, we take turns meeting up at his house in High Springs and my house in Jacksonville. I've also been to my friends Jack and Cosette's birthday parties in Gainesville.
Like I said, busy busy...
Speaking of, gotta get going, I'm off to meet up with my friend Gabriella who is visiting from Miami...
